HubSpot AEO launched April 14, 2026, and it's HubSpot's answer to the question every marketing team is quietly panicking about: how do we show up when buyers stop Googling and start asking ChatGPT?
In this video, we're going to do a couple of things:
- I'm going to give you a short setup tour, covering how to set up a fresh account and the prompts. I'll show you your products and services and how the onboarding works to give you a feel for how easy it is to set up.
- Then, We're going to go into our paid client account and allow you to see the features that the full version has, to give you a full, in-depth view.

I've been building websites for almost a decade. I've been involved in over a hundred website builds, and I've been through all the tech changes in how websites and our brands get found online. (AI being one of them)
And here's the honest thing. Nobody has cracked AI search yet. It's a black box. Anyone telling you they've got it figured out is selling you something.
So the question isn't whether HubSpot “solved AI search”… because They didn't. The question is how close they got, and whether what they built is actually useful in giving us an accurate baseline to track progress.
Before we dive into setting up an account, a few things about the product:
There are two ways to use Hubspot AEO:
- Bundled into Marketing Hub Pro and Enterprise, or
- standalone for $50 a month with a 28-day free trial.
Here are the catehes:
On the free trial, you get 10 prompts only within ChatGPT, and on the standalone plan, you get 25 prompts to track on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
and It tracks only three engines so no Claude and no Google AI Overviews.
If you're already in HubSpot, turn it on. It's free and it's a useful baseline. As with a lot of its newer products, HubSpot's goal is to get you to jump on their cheaper, full-service plans, which escalate in price very quickly.
