The real leverage came from implementing a behavior-driven conversion system using ConvertBox.

Exit Intent Lead Capture System

We deployed a targeted exit-intent experience on the homepage, designed to capture users at the exact moment they were about to leave.

This wasn't a generic popup.

It was triggered based on scroll depth (how engaged the user was), time on site, exit behavior, and returning versus new visitor status.

The goal was straightforward: intercept high-intent users and convert them before they disappeared.

Behavioral Targeting and Optimization

Instead of showing the same message to everyone, the system adapts based on user behavior.

Engaged users see stronger, more direct CTAs. Returning visitors are treated differently than new traffic. Timing is delayed or accelerated based on interaction patterns.

This turned the homepage from a passive experience into an active conversion layer.

Webflow CMS Foundation

The site was built in Webflow CMS to allow fast iteration, clean structure, and ongoing flexibility.

This enables rapid updates without development bottlenecks, easy landing page and campaign support, and a clean, scalable content structure that doesn't require a developer every time something changes.

Technical and Platform Decisions

Webflow was selected for speed, flexibility, and ease of iteration. ConvertBox was integrated to power on-site lead capture and behavioral targeting.

This combination gave AltSocial full control over their marketing stack, faster execution cycles, and a system that improves over time through testing and iteration.

Outcomes and Impact

1,100+ leads generated directly from homepage exit intent alone. Significant increase in visitor-to-lead conversion rate. Captured high-intent users that would have otherwise left without taking action. Built a compounding lead generation system from traffic they were already getting.
